Help us spread the word so the Pearl and the Beard can have many a successful trip across the pond! Re-blog, re-tweet, re-facebook, re-tumbl, email, mass text, skywrite, telegram, announce over your school’s intercom system, post to your office bulletin board – you get the idea. Let’s get excited!

Hey Pittsburgh!

We will be at the Park House (403 East Ohio Street) tonight hanging with the Armadillos.

Free Show! We will play a short acoustic set around 10:30pm tonight. There will be some bluegrass jamming before and after (from 9-12am) so bring an instrument to play if you feel so inclined!

Pearl and the Beard is gonna be in you, DC.

If you haven’t heard, the band is coming to our nation’s capitol to spread merriment and support the unstoppable David Wax Museum at the 9:30 Club on Wednesday, September 14 at 8 pm. Also performing will be DC natives The Second String Band. Sure to be a memorable night if there ever was one. Ever.

If you don’t already have tickets, what are you doing not clicking this link to get tickets?

Friday night we’ll be gracing the PENTHOUSE at Cooper Square Hotel for the Joe’s Pub Summer Salon Series. This is an incredibly beautiful location, and it could very well be on of the most magical nights of the summer. You can get tickets and ticket information HERE, and you can get a good laugh HERE. Doors are at 7 and the performance starts at 7:30.

Come get classy!

For reasons beyond our control, the Truck America Festival (scheduled for September 9-11) has been cancelled. Sorry to all that were planning to attend. To catch us perform elsewhere, check out our tour dates.

There’s been a slight change of plan for the Wet Hot American Summer date at MHOW. The date of the show, in the first place, has been changed from the 26th of July to August 2, and due to scheduling conflicts Pearl and the Beard will no longer be the house band. But fear not! Jeremy Styles will be present singing guest vocals with The Losers Lounge and in general adding his hilarious (and delicious) flavor to the night.

Hopefully this news doesn’t ruin your whole year/life. It’s still going to be a fantastic, unforgettable evening.
