You might remember this Tumblr post from a couple of weeks ago about Pearl and the Beard’s visit to 1 Take TV in London. Well, the first of the full-length videos has finally arrived! The video above is the 1 Take studio version of “The Lament of Coronado Brown.” You can also check out this preview of the brand new original PatB composition, “Devil’s Head Down.” Special thanks to Jonah and the entire Take 1 crew! Pearl and the Beard will be taking part in World Cafe Live’s Kidrockers concert series THIS Saturday, November 19th at 11:30am (doors open at 11).

Kidrockers is a concert series that began in January 2007 in NYC and is now in Los Angeles (The Echo), Philadelphia (World Café) and Chicago (Schubas). These All Ages shows are designed to bring families together to experience some of the most engaging and vital artists in indie music and comedy. Artists perform original (not specifically made for children) songs in a manner that is both authentic and kid-friendly. Past artists include Silversun Pickups, Rogue Wave, Local Natives, The Watson Twins, Dengue Fever, and more!

While in the UK last week, Pearl and the Beard did a session with the fine folks at 1 Take TV in London. We’ll be debuting the whole session soon, but for now, here’s a trailer! Special thanks to Jonah and all the crew there for making it such a fun experience for everyone!

Pearl and the Beard are bloody excited to announce their very first UK tour THIS NOVEMBER! The tour kicks off in London, where the band will be opening for longtime friends Jukebox the Ghost. Then it’s two headlining shows in London (at a gorgeous old church where the acoustics blew Lauren’s socks off when she saw Bon Iver there) and Manchester; and a return to London, where PatB is excited to be opening for the very talented Amy LaVere.
