Good people of Brooklyn and beyond! We’ll be performing at FARM TO FOLK FEST, a benefit concert and artisanal food fair on Sunday, August 22 at Union Pool. The event will also feature Mia Riddle and Madison Square Gardeners and a mini-farmers market of goods from local food vendors to raise money for the Greenpoint-Williamsburg CSA’s Low Income Fund. What could be a better way to spend a Sunday afternoon?

The Fest also includes Sixpoint Craft Ale specials and local food vendors: Bakesalery, The Brooklyn Salsa Company, Cheshire Canning, and The DP Chutney Collective from 3:00 – 8:00pm. Hooray, beer!

The GWCSA will be asking guests for a suggested $12 donation at the door with all proceeds directly benefiting the GWCSA’s Low Income Fund. And check this out, padres… children are welcome when accompanied by a parent or guardian. Hooray, kids!

Support the co-sponsors! Brooklyn Kitchen, Greenpoint Food Market, GrowNYC Greenmarket, Just Food, Sixpoint Craft Ale, and Sound Fix Records.

We’ll be sharing the stage with our dear friends, the insanely talented Great Elk and Kevin Johnston, so this is a night not to be missed!

The last show of our tour (and the whole tour for that matter) was incredible thanks to all of the amazing people who came out to support us! Thanks so much to everyone who came, brought friends, told their friends to come, or were there in spirit.

Also, this Brunch has a montage.

Thank you so much to everyone who came out and showed their support during our Midwest Tour! It was an absolutely amazing experience. Highlights included:

- Hearing that a wonderful bunch of guys in Chicago may get our band name tattooed onto their bodies, which we promised would grant them unlimited free access to all of our shows forever.
- Recording a Daytrotter Session.
- Seeing old friends and making new ones.
- Playing with the incredibly talented Holy Ghost Tent Revival and Anna Vogelzang
- The beards made by Juliet Hinely and Rylee Mae.
- The goat-meat quesadillas in Washington, DC. Holy guacamole those were good.

Let’s just say we’re in a bit of tour withdrawal for the time being. But not for long! We’ll be announcing more tours and other exciting news soon… stay thee tuned.

Anna Vogelzang, Fort Wilson Riot, and Nester joined us at the Project Lodge in Madison, WI for an amazing show! So intimate and fun… thanks everyone for coming out! The next day we headed to breakfast at The Waffle House… and may or may not have Total Eclipse of the Hearted that place up.

When there be lemons we make some lemon meringue pie for sure. We’ve just added a show at an outdoor festival in Harpers Ferry, WV for Friday, July 23! It’s a benefit for some local folks, and we’re honored to be a part of this community event. It’s on Timber Lane, and there will be music all day. Our set should be around 6:30 or later, but that all depends on where the winds take us…

And DC and surrounding area… please join us for our TOUR WRAP-UP SHOW at The Velvet Lounge on Saturday, 7/24! Let’s pack this acorn factory.
